“Piccola cassetta
priva di androne, e con la porta di ingresso immediata all’atrio. A destra di
questa è un cubicolo, e nel fondo stanno
il triclinio ed un oecus, tra cui un fauce, contenente
l’adito di una scaletta, e conducente alla cucina ed al viridario, ov’era situata una cella rustica con apotheca adiacente.”

(Small
house without entrance corridor, and with the entrance doorway immediate to the
atrium. To the right of this is a cubiculum, and at the rear are the triclinium
and an oecus, between which was a corridor, containing the base of a staircase/ladder,
and leading to the kitchen and the viridarium, where was located a rustic room with
adjacent storeroom/cupboard.)

In the rear right of the atrium was the triclinium. Between these two rooms was a corridor with an access for the staircase to upper floor.
This corridor led to the rear of the house, where there was a small garden in the rear south corner.
There was also a kitchen and a small rustic room with nearby storeroom.
